Welcome to Six Foot Games
What?
Six Foot Games is the label under which Ingvar Mattsson publishes his
game designs (primarily pen&paper games of different sorts, but
possibly even computer games, in the future).
Why?
Multiple reasons. Separating game content out from any other website
Ingvar runs makes it easier to control what search engines see or
not. "Six Foot Games" is a cool name (it's within half an inch of
Ingvar's height and resonates nicely with "hexapodia" (six-footed)).
So, show us the games already!
- Project Unnamed
- Project Unnamed is a pen&paper RPG SF-oid game. It takes
place on Earth (mostly...) in the year 2082. There is magic in the
world (don't worry, the magic is designed to be easy to "snap out" of
the rules, if so is desired). There are cybernetic implants, but
they're more along the lines of prosthetics than enhancements. There
are space colonies and a city on the Moon.
- No Cards Barred
- No Cards Barred is a card game of brutal hand-to-hand combat,
using a standard deck of cards. This is a two-player game.
Alas, that is about the finished stuff, so far.
Assorted resources
There is a section for assorted resources, of teh more game-unspecific kind.
Work In Progress
- Faith
- A boardgame about the struggle for domination on the nooplane. Will your
faith be the strongest or will the Evil Skeptics and Scientoists drag you off
into skepticland?
- TaleRPG
- An RPG set in the world of the Tale of Westala and Villtin, using what I
hope is a new, quick, easy approach to all in-game resolution.
- Gatlopp
- A 2D up/down/left/right scroller, vaguely inspired by the old classic
Gauntlet. It's more of a technology trial than anything else (will require
X11).
- Pantzer
- A 3D first-tank-view shooter (wire-frame), written in Common Lisp,
using CLX as a display. Developed and tested with SBCL, but has been
run in its earlier testing phase under Lispworks Common Lisp (using
Cygwin/X as a display).
